It’s tax time

dreaded tax season has arrived. But, for the first time in seven years, I have some great news. I’m getting a refund!! Yesterday my last T4 arrived in the mail so I was able to do my taxes up last night. I couldn’t do my husband’s as we are still waiting for his T4 from his job. After about an hour, much to my amazement, I discovered that the government actually owes me money. So I was doing a happy happy dance. I can’t formally file it yet as I need my husband’s numbers to file my own, but knowing that this money will eventually be coming in has made my day. I am quite content to wait for the check to arrive so I can go out and spend it.
