And That’s….the Truth

Well the children have returned.  See, I told you I didn’t really lose them.  For the past couple of nights they have been with their grandfather.  They got to stay up late, they played a lot of computer games and they got to eat a lot of treats.  They had the time of their lives, and I don’t think my young fellow has stopped talking about it since he walked into the house.  Their grandfather, on the other hand, looked very, very tired.  But, he claims they were good and he would love to do it again real soon.  So they couldn’t have been that bad.

It was a nice treat for my husband and I as well.  Not only were the kids away, but he also didn’t get called into work so we got to spend some quality time together.  I did miss the “rugrats” and am glad that there home.  But, I honestly think this little break was everything we all needed (except for my father in law, lol).  And I’m sure that we will be able to do this again real soon.  Well, as soon as my father in law gets some well deserved sleep.
