And That’s….the Truth

This morning my daughter informed me that she has made a decision as far as school goes next year.  When she was explaining this to me, she had such a mature look on her face.  She has decided that she is not going to join choir again next year, but she will keep playing the violin.  It’s funny how things can change.  Before Christmas she had this same exact talk with me, except she was going to continue with choir and stop taking the violin lessons.  But she had changed her mind.  She is really starting to love violin again (now that she can play some real songs) and is starting to find choir a tad bit boring.

Who knows?  Maybe by next year she will have changed her mind again.  But until the end of this school year, she has to continue in both as she agreed to stay in both programs for a year.  She looks so mature when she is making her decisions.  I guess I’m just having a hard time believing that my “baby girl” is growing up.
