I felt so bad for her
Last night I took my daughter, who is 9, to see our family doctor. She has three warts on her hands which bother her quite a bit. They are not painful, but they are unsightly and the kids at school do tease her a bit about them. We have tried the over the counter medication, but nothing seems to work. So after discussing the situation with my doctor’s nurse, she informed us that if Kara wanted them to they could do a procedure to remove them. Of course Kara said yes and I made the appointment.
When we seen the doctor he did warn us that it is quite a painful procedure and if she didn’t want to do it she didn’t have to as nine times out of ten children who have this condition usually outgrow it on their own. But she was determined to try it. Unfortunately, she couldn’t handle the pain so they stopped the procedure. So she still has the same problem but now she is willing to wait it out instead of go through that kind of pain again.
But, she was a trooper for trying and I did feel really bad for her to see her go through this type of ordeal. So for now she’s stuck with her “pests” (as she calls them) and she is patiently waiting for them to leave. If any one here knows of a method (without pain) that has worked for them or someone they know, I would love to hear from you.

Aurora has two warts on one of her fingers and she hates them.
My baby had the same problem but she was only 3 years old at the time. We had to use Compound W pads for kids and she had to wear a little glove over it all the time to prevent her from putting it in her mouth. But it worked great. However, while we were involved in this treatment my oldest son ended up with one on his little finger and someone suggested that we try DuckTape. I know it sounds strange, but it worked! It took nearly three weeks of constant taping and had to be changed daily because he was so rough on it, but it really did take care of it and he has never had the problem again. I don’t know if you can find anything useful in my rambling, but I hope it helps!
Was the procedure freezing? I had that done and, while it is momentarily painful, it works.
sorry don’t have any tips.. over at this corner of the earth, some people uses some traditional method to rid moles though I doubt if you can find them at your place.. maybe can try chinatown?

Went through that ordeal with Jay (foot) and this summer well into the fall with Blake(foot). I did hear as Tammy has mentioned duck tape but we tried the wart freezer from the drug store. We did it once a day on Blake for 10 days then waited as the skin peeled off and finally it was gone. We tried everything else until that point. My last resort was going to be the duck tape lol.
