House hunting

Last night when my husband got home from work he was so excited. He was telling me about a house that isn’t on the market yet, but he found out about it and if everything he heard was true, it would be the perfect house for us. So my husband and I and the kids piled in the car to go look at this house. I have to say that I was highly impressed with the layout of the house, the great condition it was in and the huge back yard. The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the bath lift, but I figured that if we end up purchasing the home, we can always remove this. So my husband is going today to talk to our mortgage broker and see if we can get pre-qualified for a mortgage. If we can then we will probably put an offer in on this house.

Exciting! Let me know how things go…..Where is it?

The warm weather is finally here and we are getting outside and as we (me and Blakie) are walking up to the school park I find myself remembering sitting at the park on the bench chatting while the kids played. If only you guys could have moved here with us LOL

Oh I still dream of one day owning our own house. Somehow that dream seems so faded compared to only a few months ago. However we are happy in our new locationn & am pleased to be doing things we never did in Sydney.

I wish you all the best of luck & just remember, one the house is yours you can & will do with it as you see fit!
Heck, you could even turn your bathroom into an indoor grotto if you realy wanted to….. LOL

Congratulation on your future house. The house market now is a buyers market where the price of a house is much lower then several years ago. If you have good credit then you should be able to get a mortgage with low rates.
