Good luck with both your move & your packing.
During our move which we did ourselves to some extent, we were lucky enough to score the use of some crates. These stack realy well together & can create a uniform straight line when stacked up & against each other. Also you can see inside them! The only problem is creepy crawlys can get into them so you do have to be careful what is packed int hem for any length of time.
We kept a couple handy with immediate use clothes in them so all we had to do was throw them into the car on the last trip & pull them out first thing. We basically were clothes from the crate each day of the move, so essentially we lived out of it.
We also packed our foods in them which made them easy to carry around as they have handles. I cannot express how much this helped our move!
Oh! Before I forget, we did use a few of those pesky foam boxes which are just so hard to dispose of! We found the local Waste Management Centres all charge to the hilt to dispose of these yet the thought of breaking them up & placing them in the bin is a horrible but almost forcefully the only way to get rid of them. We still have videos packed in the garage inside them which keep them safe when bumped etc, however the ones we emptied have been turned into Garden Beds! We are also dabbling with the thought of using them to create another worm farm, however as our Can-O-Worms is charging along quite well, we are'nt ready to make another one as yet. So you can recycle these foam boxes for your own use after using them if needbe :o)
