I took the weekend off
Well I finally did it! I took the weekend off from my computer. I did no posts on any of my blogs and only did a very small amount of Entrecard drops. I have never done this type of thing in the past two years of being on the Internet. This was the first weekend of the kids summer break and I decided that what I really wanted to do was spend some quality time with the kids. And…I did! We went camping, spent a lot of time outside and just had a lot of fun.
I did feel a bit guilty for not updating the blogs over the weekend but figured they would still be there for me this morning. I had so much fun this weekend with the kids, that I think this summer I will probably take more time off. After all my kids are only young once and it won’t be too long before they will be both too “old” to play with dear old mom. So I’m going to enjoy this time while I can.

I notice a lot of people take weekends off from blogging and there’s nothing wrong with that! Enjoy the time you spend with your kids, they grow up way too fast!

Good for you. I am taking more time off on weekends too—and I’m feeling less guilty about it all the time, lol!
