School shopping

Later this afternoon the kids will be headed back to their summer day camp. After having them home for two weeks, there is so much that I need to get done. One of the things I really need to do is to start the kids school shopping. Having two kids going back to school, this little venture is going to cost me a little bit of money. So this afternoon after I drop the kids off at camp, I’m going shopping. I was reading in the flyers that our local shopping center is having a huge sale today and tomorrow on all back to school clothes. So I am going to try to find each of the kids a few outfits to go back to school in.

Sometime next month I will go out and purchase all their supplies that they are going to need. And by the looks of both their lists, it’s going to require some serious cash to get this all done. I also have some plans of doing some of this shopping online. With the great deals that I will be able to get at buy.com I figured that this would be one way that I could save a ton of money. From looking at their weekly deals page I have decided to purchase the kids their shoes from this site. Because both kids need two pairs of shoes each this online purchase is going to save me a lot of money.

I will save so much cash that I may even be able to buy myself something nice. I was just checking out their weekly deals page and seen something I would like to purchase with the money I would save from my other shopping. I would love to have a new iPod and with a starting price at $59.99, I can’t go wrong.

I’m a bad mommy, I hardly do school shopping…Keatkeat just goes to school with whatever that ‘find-a-ble’ in the house…unless its broken or spoilt….

I walked into the office supply yesterday and nearly had a heart attack - all the school supplies! And my kids are in those “expensive years.” They have to show up with the items on the lists. The office supply keeps the lists for each school for each grade. I picked the lists up. I need anxiety meds.

While that is not an iPod the Sansa is a decent device for listening to music. Did you know that if you buy the DVD with the digital copy of the movie it doesn’t work on iPod or Zune but would probably play on a Sansa.
