Long weekend

Well we are well into our way for our very last long weekend of the summer. And you all know what that means. After the long weekend has ended and Tuesday has arrived the kids are headed back to school. Yay! So this weekend is going to be very busy weekend at our house. I need to get all the kids stuff together and marked. And get them both ready for their big day. I’m sure we will find some time during this long weekend to have a little fun as well. So happy weekend to you all and I’ll see you again the first of next week.

Getting ready for back to school

This time of year is one of the more expensive times of year for all parents. Yes, I’m talking about back to school. With two kids headed back to school my pocket book tends to get a little stretched this time of year. So because I have two of them that I need to purchase clothes and supplies for I am always on the lookout for the best places to buy Cheap Clothing.

One place I frequent quite often is over at GetHeavenly.com. This site is amazing. They have the very best selection of Discount Clothing. Everything on their site is $17.95 or less. And with any purchase of $75.00 or over they will give you free shipping. All their clothing is of the very best quality, but with the very best prices. They supply everything you would ever need to get your kids ready to head back to school and for a limited time you can also get up to a 10% discount on all back to school shopping. So to all you parents out there, if your looking for good quality clothing at extremely low prices, then I highly suggest you head on over to this site.

Freelance writing

For the past couple of years now I have been doing a lot of working from home on my computer. Any money I make from working from home adds to our household income and I can honestly say I don’t know where we would be without it. Well I have been doing good with a couple of paid to blog sites so I thought I would try my hand at some freelance article writing. I figured that since I can write blog posts then I could probably write articles as well. Well between yesterday and today I have signed up with a couple of people to write some articles for them. I have written a few and have already been paid for my work. So I guess as long as these opportunities hold up I will continue to do both. Both of these activities keep me pretty busy so for now I will not be searching for any more online activities.

I am so overwhelmed

For the past month or so my father in law has been cleaning out his house and has been giving me a ton of stuff. Most of the items that he has given me I will put to good use but for now it’s just laying around the house. My house is so cluttered that I’m having a hard time just walking around it. Yesterday he showed up with more stuff and I just wanted to cry. We have no room for the stuff he already has given us and for him to walk in the house with a box filled with Delta faucets, knickknacks, stuffed animals for the kids and two big cabinets I just wanted to sit on the floor and cry. But I smiled and said thank you and then told my husband that he really needs to do something with this place and the stuff or I’m going to go crazy.

Trying something new

If you knew me personally, you would know that one of my addictions in life is coffee. But not just any kind of coffee, it has to be a certain brand. And I don’t normally want to try any new kind of coffee. But one of my friends works uptown and she just told me about a new Starbucks that just opened up. We have never had one of these in our town before but I have heard a lot of good things about this company and their Starbucks coffee so I’m thinking I may just give these people a try. Who knows, maybe I’ll like this coffee better than what I am used to and will start spending all my coffee dollars with them.

Doing the family thing

Well since there is less than a week left in the kids summer vacation my husband and I decided to give them a little treat. The other day we took them to the massive fun park that is in our area and then after that we took them out to dinner. Well to say that they enjoyed their day would have been a serious understatement. These last two weeks have been kind of difficult on them as my husband has been working a lot of overtime so they haven’t seen their father a whole lot. So this day held a special meaning to them. They had such fun that they asked him if we could do it again in the near future. And…we have decided that we probably will. At least one more time before they head back to school.

You can save a life!

Stem cell technology has been discussed in the news a lot lately. There have been some majorly awesome breakthroughs in this medical field and I just wanted to tell you a little bit about it.

Being a woman and having a monthly menstrual period has always been a major pain to me. Except for being able to give birth to my three children, I could never really figure out what it was good for. But now that I am aware of a stem cell procedure that is being introduced by C’elle, I am a little more tolerant about this affliction that arrives to me and all women every month.

First, I will tell you all About the Science. The Celle’s team has discovered that life saving stem cells can be found in menstrual blood. And the great thing about these stem cells is that they can possibly used to treat major disease such as heart disease, stroke, MS, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. This is such great news for future generations.

Just imagine having access to a treatment that could potentially save your own life, or the life of a loved one in the very near future. I know some of these life threatening diseases are of a great concern to me as most of these diseases run in my family and I worry that I may contract it or my children could. But with the purchase of Celle, some of my worries could be eliminated.

So if the possibility of developing one of these diseases is a concern of yours or you would just like the opportunity to help out someone else, then I suggest that you drop by the Celle website and check out the C’elle Client Testimonial as well as the different ways in how you can become involved. Just remember the life you save, could just as well be your own!

So…tired

Man I am so tired today I can hardly sit at my computer and type. Yesterday we took off to go camping and I didn’t get very much sleep. One of the trailers across from us decided they needed to have a huge party and the last time I looked at the clock was at 3:00 am and the kids had me up at 7:00 am. So you can guess what that means. Yup, very little sleep for me. I can see it’s going to be a very early night tonight. With no parties going on around here, I just may be able to get some extra sleep.

Talk to you all later.

Family vacation

One of my most treasured vacation memories would have to be the time that our entire family went on a New Jersey Vacation. We had so much fun and didn’t want to see this particular vacation end. The main reason why this trip was memorable was because the entire family was able to go. Now that the kids are getting older, we are not always able to do a lot of things as a family so enjoying a family beach vacation was a rarity that probably won’t happen again.

While we were in New Jersey we were all able to enjoy the fun and excitement at the New Jersey waterparks. Just seeing the look of excitement and happiness on the kids faces more than made the cost of the trip worth it. We were able to save quite a bit of cash by going online onto the moreyspiers website where we found terrific deals on hotels and motels in Wildwood. And with all the Morey’s Piers weekly specials we were able to save quite a bit of money on amusement park attractions and admissions.

I have to tell you that this vacation was so wonderful that we are actually planning on taking a second trip back. We would like to do this before the two younger kids get too much older so we can see the look of excitement and enjoyment at least one last time.

Major decision

About a year and a half ago I had to leave my full time job due to babysitter issues. Well I still have those issues, but I thought I might have had a solution to my problem. So when my ex-boss approached me last week about returning, I told her I would give it some serious thought and talk it over with my husband. After discussing this matter with my husband we both decided that I still wouldn’t be able to do this. The main reason why I am unable to return to work at this time is because my husband is on call 24/7 with his job. And if he gets a call, he has to go. So I can’t be too far away from home at any given time just in case he gets the call to go.

This was highly disappointing to me as I really would have liked to at least gone back part time. But right now it doesn’t look like I can go to work anywhere for a while. So I guess I’ll just have to happy in the knowledge that we can get by on only one salary.
