New additions to my collections

My husband always tells me I’m a pack rat but I don’t consider myself one.  I consider myself a collector.  I collect a lot of things.  Right now in my collections I have coins, collector spoons, salt and pepper shakers and ceramic animals.  Well the other day while we were visiting my father in law I was given some new collections to get started on.  My father in law gave me my mother in law’s collection of bells and teapots.  So I have a few more collections that I need to keep adding to.  Every time I get new items for my collections my husband just groans and the name “pack rat” comes back out.  One of these days he will understand that all these items are worth something.  Well…at least to me.

    The only thing that I collect is my dinnerware. I just started collecting it 5 years ago. Franciscan Desert Rose is the name of the dishes and I love them. So now I get a piece at a time from friends for birthdays and such. Hardly anyone sells it anymore. So it’s not easy to find and I’m thrilled when I get a new piece.
