Well I’ve got to tell you all that we pretty much had the worst vacation days that I can remember having in a very long time. It rained the entire week! We really couldn’t have picked a worse week to try to go camping. Needless to say, we were unable to go camping. On the two fine days that we did end up with, my husband need to fix both cars. So it really wasn’t a great week. Hopefully our next vacation week will turn out a little differently.

For the past couple of years now the kids have been collecting cans and bottles. After we get a few saved up, we then turn them in to the recycling place and then the kids use this money for camping. Well yesterday I decided to bag up all the cans and bottles that we had around. Well, it took me fours hours to do and when I was all finished, I had 19 garbage bags full of cans and bottles. This was a lot of work! So this afternoon my husband is going to load up his utility trailer and take them away. The kids should have quite a bit of camping money out of this trip.

Last Friday was the kid’s last day of school for the summer vacation. They have only been home for three days, but are driving me crazy all ready. They have been fighting constantly for three days and I really have to wonder if this is a sign of things to come. I really hope not. I have no idea how I would survive two months of this. Hopefully they get tired of fighting and find something to do real quick. Other wise this summer isn’t going to be a whole lot of fun for them or for me.

Today is my daughter’s grade 5 graduation. For the past month she has been super excited about this day and last night was no exception. Well, I really don’t know what happened between last night and this morning, but something sure did to change her mood. This morning she woke up and would not get ready. Getting her to put a pair of socks on was a serious chore. I don’t know if this shift in attitude is because she is nervous about what is going to happen today or what?? But thankfully tomorrow is the last day of school and I won’t have to put up with this type of attitude for the entire summer.

I have been to a lot of parties in my day, but one that I haven’t gone to and would like to would be an Oktoberfest party. These types of parties look like so much fun when I watch them on TV and I would love to receive some Oktoberfest Party Invitations to attend one and see what their like. While I was surfing the Internet the other night I ran across a site that sells Oktoberfest Invitations which got me to thinking. How much fun would that be to give out invitations Oktoberfest and have one of my own?? I think it would be a blast. Who knows, maybe one of these days I will purchase some party Oktoberfest invitations and have a little party of my own.

Father’s day is right around the corner. And no, I don’t have a gift for my husband bought yet. I know, I know I am a serious procrastinator. But, I have put it off long enough and have decided that today is the day when I am going to purchase his gift. So I went to a site that I frequent often and that site can be found over at Coupon Trunk.com. This site is amazing. They supply all kinds of coupons for all sorts of stores. So I have decided to see what I can find in the way of a coupon for the WalMart that is in town. I’m never disappointed when I got to this site and usually can find any type of coupon that I’m searching for. So, I’m off to do a little shopping. Wish me luck!

I can’t imagine knowing anybody who isn’t up for a party. The place where we take the kids camping is having their annual Mardi Gras pary and we have already received our Mardi Gras Invitations. We have never been invited to a Mardi Gras party, so we were quite happy to receive our Mardi Gras Party Invitations. I don’t know who was more excited about the invitations Mardi Gras the kids or my husband and I. But this really does sound like a good time so in a couple of weeks time we will be going to our first Mardi Gras party. I’ll be sure to let you all know how we make out.

Yesterday I didn’t have anything real pressing that needed to be done on my computer, so I actually took the day off from it. I checked my e-mails a couple of times, but other than that really didn’t do a whole lot on the computer. After being online so much over the past couple of years I have learned that I really do need to take some time off every once in a while to recharge my batteries. But I’m all rested now so it’s back to the computer for me today.

When thanking a person, it’s always nice to add a personal touch. Well this is why I sometimes will hand out Religious Thank You Cards or spiritual thank you cards. I have found that most people in life appreciate this little extra when you are giving out personal thanks. These types of cards can be found for any religious activity which could include Baptism Thank You Cards. So the next time you are debating about handing out persona thank you cards, why not give out some thank you religious cards. You and the person who is receiving the card will be thankful that you did.
