And That’s….the Truth

There is so much that is happening this time of year. The kids are just winding down the school year and in our home life I have a couple of nieces that are expecting a baby. So far I have been invited to a Baby Shower Party for both of them and I do plan on taking my daughter with me. These types of Party Baby Shower are usually a lot of fun and she is getting to the age where I think she would enjoy herself. I have gone to quite a few baby shower parties over the years and each one has been memorable. Who knows, maybe my daughter will get some great baby shower party ideas to implement when her time comes. On a side note, my son has no interest in attending any of the baby shower parties and I have no intention of making him.

Yesterday my son’s grade 3 class went swimming. Now my son is not a very good swimmer, so being a concerned mother, I made arrangements to go with him. You just never know what a kid will tell his teacher and I was afraid she might think he could swim better than he actually can. But I really had no worries. He knows his limitations and stayed where he was supposed to. He even wore a life jacket the entire time that he was in the pool. But, he had a great time so in the end everything worked out perfectly.

Lately I have been living on way… to much fast food. If I’m not careful I’m going to have to check out the best diet pills reviews I can find online. I really don’t know why I have been eating so much fast food lately. It just seems easier and less time consuming than making something from home. And to top it off, the foods I have been eating lately aren’t the very best for you either. But the kids will be home soon on summer vacation and I will have to prepare them more meals, so I’m hoping this will affect what I eat as well. Either way, I really need to cut back on the fast food intake.

Because I am a mother of three kids with two of them being boys, I am always checking out the latest and greatest in gift ideas. Well, I just found a product that I think would make an excellent gift for the two boys. They are airsoft pistols. Now one of my son’s is only eight, so if I were to purchase him Air Soft Pistols, he would only be able to play with them under close supervision. But even at his young age, I can just imagine all the fun he would have with pistol airsoft guns. He could even play airsoft pistols games with his brother. Now all I need is a reason to buy the boys this gift.

This is a special time of the year for the children. In less than two weeks they will be finished with their year of school and be home on a well deserved break. But, before this happens, they have a pretty exciting two weeks ahead of them. My son’s grade 3 class will be headed out to the swimming pool and then going out for dinner afterward. Then the next day my daughter will be going bowling and then going out to eat as well. Next week they both have their sports day. And next Thursday my daughter will have her grade 5 graduation ceremonies. So for the next couple of weeks they will have a lot of fun and then look out, summer vacation.

Your probably all wondering why I’m talking about Christmas all ready. But there really is a good reason for this. As you all know, for a little over two years now I have been doing some working from home. When I first started looking at way to earn a little extra income from home, I started doing an admin job search. But over the years I have changed my focus and have been trying out different opportunities. Well now I really feel like I have a good mix of jobs that I am able to do from my home. Currently I do paid blogging, paid article writing and general transcription. So I am not looking for any more opportunities at this time. If I can keep doing the work I have been doing lately, I will be one very happy working from home employee.

About a month ago my manager’s boss passed away unexpectedly. So I was called and asked to work all her shifts at work, plus my own.
