And That’s….the Truth

The weekend is looming right ahead of me and I have so much work that I need to get done before it arrives. This is one of our long weekends here in Canada so my husband will be home for an extra day which will mean that my routine will get all messed up. So over the next couple of days I really need to get some work done. When he’s home, I can’t seem to get much accomplished so I try to get everything done while he’s working. But on Monday he will be home as well so that will put a cramp in my style. Don’t get me wrong, I love spending time with him. But, I sure like it when he’s off to his job.

I have to say that I am loving my new job as a general transcriptionist. Although this type of work is extremely time consuming, it is very interesting work. I have transcribed all sorts of topics and each file is more interesting than the last one. I’m not sure, but I think that maybe the only type of file that I haven’t seen would be files for Tennessee injury lawyers. But I’m sure that if I keep doing this type of work, that will come in time. So if you don’t see me around me anymore this is why. I’m trying to concentrate on my home based transcription career.

Well after having a toothache every day for the past three weeks, I finally broke down and made a dentist appointment. But I wasn’t able to get in until sometime in September. So if I know me, and I think I do, by that time I will have to come up with an excuse not to go. It’s too bad we don’t have any orange nj dentist around here. I’m sure I could have gotten in a lot sooner with one of them. But I guess I’ll just have to wait until September and really try to talk myself into not changing my mind at the last moment.

Well it’s official. My oldest son will be home in two weeks. The reason why I am extremely excited about this event, is that he moved away two years and has not been home since. So him coming home is a pretty big deal to the entire family. And his timing couldn’t be more perfect. In a couple of weeks time, both his younger sister and younger brother have a birthday. He will be arriving just before their big days. So this is why I am extremely pleased that my oldest son will be stopping by.

Well it’s been another weekend of being stuck in the house. So far this summer has been pretty crappy. It’s almost the end of July and has rained every weekend since the kids got out of school. We haven’t been able to go camping once yet this season. I don’t know maybe we should have invested in Outer Banks rentals instead of a pop up camper trailer. We still do have a little over a month left of summer, so hopefully one of these weekends will be nice and we will end up camping after all.

Last night I was looking through one of the catalogues that come to our house. I had originally started looking at different types of office furniture that I may end up buying a little later down the road, but ended up spending quite a bit of time looking at preschool furniture. I never realized that there was so much different types of furniture available on the market this days. Although I’m not in any need for any preschool furniture myself, I know someone who is, so I think I’m going to pass my catalogue on to her. It was fun looking, but I don’t think I’ll end up making any purchases any time soon.

Normally around this time of year, I wouldn’t even be thinking about purchasing stuff for the kids to go back to school with. I normally put it off to the last minute. But I was looking through the flyer’s last night and noticed that one of our local stores is having a huge sale on school supplies. So even though the kids still have 54 days of summer vacation (yes, I’m counting), I am considering going out this weekend and purchasing everything they are going to need. After all, I’m going to end up making all these purchases anyway, this way I will end up saving a little extra money as well.

Well it’s now Sunday and another wasted weekend of not being able to go camping. Yesterday my husband had to work and by the time he got home it was too late to even think about going. So we were unable to go out once again. So for the past couple of days I have been doing a lot of surfing on the Internet. Honestly I am quite amazed at how many sites on the Internet claim to have the top diet pill available on the market. And why was I surfing for diet pills you may ask? Well really no reason, just bored. Hopefully next weekend we will be able to go camping.

I am so tired of being gray. I normally dye my hair ever couple of months, but this time around it is going to have to be sooner than that. This is really starting to annoy me. As I am only 41, I really shouldn’t be as gray as I am. Thankfully I don’t have to invest in any wrinkle cream yet, but I’m sure that will come soon as well. I really wish I could grow old gracefully, but at the age of 41 I really don’t need to be looking 51.

Well as you all know, I am currently employed as a waitress at a busy family restaurant. For the past year since I’ve been back, my shifts are constantly changing. Well it looks like they will be changing once again. A few months ago I went from working weekends to working a couple of days during the week. Well in the very near future it looks like I’ll be back on weekends again. So it looks like I’ll be changing shifts once again. One of these days I’m going to go on a shift and stick with it.
