And That’s….the Truth

Well after three days of not being able to get on the computer, I am finally able to use it somewhat today. I have been having a lot of problems with my computer and with the speed of it being incredibly slow I just couldn’t be bothered messing around with it. If I can’t get my computer to work better than it has for the past three days, I’m seriously going to have to invest in a new one. I really hope it doesn’t come down to that, but I really can’t afford to be off the Internet for many more days like that. It was a great little break off the computer, but it’s really going to hurt come payday.

Last week while my husband was home on vacation quite a bit of “stuff” went down at his place of employment. His manager was let go and the rest of the staff was informed that the head office would be looking at everything that has been going on at this particular branch. Well that got a lot of the guys just a bit nervous. Some of them have been looking elsewhere for employment and one of the guys even applied for a job motorhome towing. My husband isn’t worried as he is quite confident that he has been doing his job. But you just never know what to expect this days so I have told him that he should probably keep his eyes and ears open. I hope he doesn’t loose his job, but time will tell in these matters.

I like to think that I’m a creative person. I can make jewelry, cross stitch, knit, sew and crochet. But there is one thing that I can’t do and would love to, and that is create a decent cad drawing. I have seen so many of these and every time I look at one, I start wishing that I could do something like this. I have heard that people are creative in this type of thing make some pretty decent money doing it. Although the money would be nice, it is no my sole reason for wishing I was more creative in this area.

I honestly thought that I wouldn’t be thinking about rain for a very long time to come. But here I sit just praying for the rain to fall. July was the wettest month that we’ve had in a very long time and I was so sick of the rain that I was starting to get depressed about the whole situation. But then August came along and so did the nice weather. Well, for the past six days we have been experiencing a seriously bad heat wave. So it is for this reason that I am praying for the rain. At least with a little bit of rain the temperatures would cool down. Oh well, I guess you can’t make everyone happy now can you?!

After living in a mobile home for the past 10 years, I really am starting to wish that I had a manufactured home. I’m not really particular on what kind of home I would like, just a home away from this trailer. I hate living in this park and would love to move away from it. Hopefully I won’t have to wait another 10 years to get the home of my dreams and to get away from this stupid trailer park.

I am so glad that the month of July is finally behind us. The month of July was one of the wettest months that we have had in a very long time. Because of all the rain we had, the kids weren’t able to go out to play that much so we were all stuck in the house for quite a bit of the month. I got so tired of looking up weight loss supplements on the Internet just for something to do. But August seems to be a better month so far as the weather has gone. Hopefully this trend will continue and we will continue to see a nice sunny month.

I don’t know about you guys, but I am so ready for the weekend!

Wow looking back I have to say that we had a pretty busy weekend. Saturday my husband had to work so I took that opportunity to catch up on a bit of my Internet work that I needed to get done. On Sunday we went to my father in law’s for a BBQ. Then yesterday was my daughter’s 11th birthday with a party with family and friends. Today is my youngest son’s birthday. So another busy day will be on the horizon for us. I really can’t wait until life slows down just a bit. Then maybe I’ll be able to sit back and relax for a bit.
