A few months ago I decided to try my hand at transcription. I really did enjoy the type of work I was doing and made some pretty decent cash with it. Well, real life got in the way and I kind of let that type of work slide. Well I have decided to get back in to it. Over the past couple of days I have applied for a couple of jobs and just received an e-mail this morning that a company would like me to test for them. I’m pretty pumped about that. So I have decided to dust off all my office furniture and get back into it. I’m just waiting for the test file to come through my e-mail. Hopefully I do fine and begin transcribing once again.

Well after being out on his own for the past couple of years and holding down some pretty crappy jobs, my oldest son has finally found a job that he absolutely loves! He will be in charge of all the cad drawings at his office. He has been looking for something like this for well over two years and finally found a company that was willing to take a chance on him. Since it took him this long to find this type of employment, I’m sure he will do his best and will stay with this company for a very long time to come.

My daughter is turning into a little teenager and it’s starting to scare the crap out of me! Last night I asked her what she would like for Christmas and she informed me that she wants her own cell phone. Since when do eleven year olds need cell phones?? When I was eleven I can remember still playing with dolls and not really worrying about how to contact friends while I’m on the go. Is it my imagination, or are kids growing up faster and faster these days. I would love it if she would stay a little girl for a little while longer, but I fear in our present lives, that isn’t going to happen.

At my son’s school every class goes skating at least four times. Well today is the day that my son’s class goes. And…. he wants his mommy. So later on this morning (when I’m done this post actually) I will be headed out the door to spend about an hour in a very cold rink. Oh well, he only goes four times this year and this is the second trip so I only have two more to go. With an extra large coffee to drink there and another one to drink after I leave, I should be OK.
So… I’ll see you all later.

We have a new addition to the family. No, it’s not a child or a pet. It’s a new car. A new car for me. It’s not a Ferrari or anything like that so I don’t need any Ferrari parts but it’s still a very nice car none the less. On Friday I purchased myself a new 2001 Neon. The car I was driving was a 96 Dodge Stratus and it was getting to be in rough shape. So for the past couple of months I have been searching for that perfect vehicle and I finally found it. As soon as I seen it I knew I just had to have it. So I purchased it! Now all I have to do is pay for it. lol

I swear to god that I’m dyeing my hair now each and every month. And don’t get me started on the amount of treatment for wrinkles that I have been investing in.
Now your probably wondering where this rant is coming from. Well, I am only 41 but have the gray hair and wrinkles of a 51 year old. And I’m getting quite tired of it all. A couple of weeks ago I had a mystery shop done in my store and they guessed my age to be in my late 40’s. Well it’s not! And I was not impressed reading this. So later on today I will be having yet another dye job done. So hopefully if they come in to my store again and try to guess my age, they will get a little bit closer to the truth.

I honestly think the worst is over. All the kids and my husband are feeling much better and are back where there supposed to be. I am even feeling a whole lot better than I was. I was even able to sit at my computer most of the day and look up new york hotel deals. I haven’t been able to do that for a while. So for now at least we are all feeling fine. Who is to say what will take place next week, but this week we are up and moving.
