It has been a crazy week. As you can see I haven’t been blogging that much lately, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been tied to my computer. For the past six days I have been doing typing. I have a general transcription job that needs to be done by Thursday and I am so… not even close yet. So I guess it will be a few more days before I’ll be back in here and posting to tell you all about NC short term health insurance or whatever strikes my fancy. Oh well, sometimes blogging does have to take a back seat to other stuff. And these week seems to be one of those weeks.

Well the weekend is firmly behind us and it now once again Monday morning. I have so much to do, that it’s starting to scare me. I have to do quite a bit of blogging (didn’t get much done over the weekend), do a lot of housework, go to the bank and go get some groceries. Well that sounds like a lot now doesn’t it? Oh well, I don’t have to go back to work until tomorrow so I really do have all day to get this done. So I got to get off my butt and get some work done. See ya!

Well things seemed to be going along quite smoothly with my working from home jobs, until today. Today I had to drop one as it really wasn’t what I thought it would be. And after figuring out the money, it really wasn’t worth putting that much time into any job. Then I just heard from a second contract that they are going out of business, so I have lost that job as well. Oh well, I guess I’ll start looking into sites like philadelphia job listings to see if I can find a couple more contracts to replace the two I lost. I’m not discouraged. I understand this is the way life can go sometimes in the online world, so I guess I’ll just keep plugging away at it.

As you all know, I do a lot of work from home. I find this is a great way to supplement our household income and with both the kids in school, it really does give me something to do with my time. Well, lately I have been checking out some online admin jobs and I have to say that I have found quite a few that I think I’m qualified for. I think I’m going to apply to a bunch of them and see where this all goes. If I could get just one more contract online, I would be very comfortable in leaving my outside job and just working strictly from home. I’ll be sure to let you all know how I make out.

Yes, once again it’s time for me to haul out the box of dye and dye my hair. You may wonder why this distresses me so much. Well… I have been going gray since I was sixteen and after all these years I’m seriously getting tired of all this gray hair. I’m only 41, but if I had no color in my hair, I would be completely gray! So…. today once again I will have to dye it. All I need now is to have to use wrinkle cream and then I’ll really feel old. Oh well, in a little while I will once again look 41 and not 51.

Later on this week I need to go to the doctor’s. I rarely go, if ever. But when I really get sick or when I need my eczema treatment then I do end up going. There is really only one reason why I despise going to my doctor. This is because when you make an appointment for 9:00 am, you’re lucky if you see him by 1:00 pm. I absolutely hate the wait! So that is why I don’t go to the doctor very often. I guess I figure that if I wait long enough, whatever ails me will take care of itself.

Well the two kids have officially ended their second terms in school. So far so good. Both the kids are doing quite amazing in their school work, and I really can’t see any problems ahead for the remainder of the school year. Every year we buy the kids a grading present if they grade (which they have in the past), and this year will be no different. I have already started looking at grading presents (because I know at this point they will both pass) and have thought of a really neat idea. I plan on purchasing them both personalized basketballs. They are both heavily into this sport and I think this would be such a neat idea. So… if their third term of school goes as well as their other terms did, then I guess I’m going to have to start forking out some money.
