Crafting business

So I’ve been doing quite a bit of work on my home crafting business. Not only have I been doing quite a bit of crafting but I have also set up a new website (it’s still in progress) and have been testing out a document management system as well. Things are starting to look up with. My ideal goal is to be able to do this full time and make a little extra income along way. If I keep going the way I’ve been going lately I really do think this dream will eventually come to life.

Started Christmas shopping

Well with only three months left to go until Christmas I decided it was time that I made a stab on all my Christmas shopping. So last night I went shopping. I seen a lot of cool items (like pond filters) but didn’t find a whole lot of presents that I wanted to buy. So my shopping trip really was kind of a bust. I did find a few items, but didn’t even come close to what I wanted to get done. But there is still three months left so I haven’t hit the panic mode quiet yet. I’ll just have to go to a different store next time.

It’s finally Friday!

Man… what a long week! I really don’t know why this week seemed so long but I just glad that it’s finally almost over. Looking back over the past week it really doesn’t seem like I got a whole lot done. So I have a lot of work to do today to get ready for the weekend. I do have tomorrow off from my outside job but with two kids home for the weekend, I don’t think I’ll get a whole lot done. But anyways, have a great weekend!

First day of fall

Where does the time go? Summer is over and today is the official first day of fall. So you all know what that means don’t you?? Winter and Christmas is not far behind us. So I have decided to get a little head start on my Christmas shopping. The first thing I have done is download some shoebuy coupons so I can start on the kid’s Christmas presents. Although it’s still September, it’s never too early to get a start on this shopping. So I plan on starting now.

Getting back to normal

For the past month or so I have not been sleeping very well at all. And then when I wake up in the morning I feel like I haven’t slept a wink at all and I am then tired for the entire day. Well last night I went to sleep at 9:00 pm and slept until 7:00 am this morning. I feel great! I think I may even have the energy this afternoon to crank out the few articles on how to build muscle fast that I have been putting off for a few days. So… hopefully my not sleeping at night is firmly behind me now.

Community meeting

Later this afternoon we have a community meeting in our trailer park. We will be discussing our displeasure on the new rules and regulations that the new park owners are trying to enforce and we will be trying to figure out a way to have all of this drama stopped. Some of the news media plan on attending as well as our local MLA. Since there will be cameras there, I really wish I had invested in some eye wrinkle creams as I do look a little sad these days. But since I’ve been one of the vocal ones in this park already, I really do need to attend.

Sick day

Well this is the first sick day of the school year. My son woke up this morning with a fever and a stomach ache so I kept him home from school. I hope it’s nothing serious and just the stomach flue or something. I’m going to the drug store a little later to get some children’s Advil for him and hopefully that will do the trick. At least I don’t have to purchase a fat burner for him. Hopefully a bit of Advil and he will be good to go once again. At least it’s the weekend so he does have a couple of days to shake this.

I’m going to be famous!

I need to find a great way on how to get rid of acne. I’m going on TV. About six months ago our park was bought out about six months ago. Well last week they sent around a six page letter on new rules that they want us to follow. Most of the rules we outrageous and most of us residents refuse to abide from them. Well one of our local news stations has picked up the story and have asked me to speak to them. I have agreed because I don’t agree with these rules. But…. before I do this I want to look my best. After all it’s not every day a person gets to be on TV.

Finally a nice rainy day

I know the title of this post must sound kind of funny. But… after having so much warm weather, it really is nice to have a rainy day every once in a while. Because it’s raining outside today I have no choice but to stay in the house so I’m hoping I will be able to get quite a bit of work done. I plan on re-arranging the tv stands in the kid’s bedrooms, cleaning out my home office and getting some work done on the computer. So for these reasons, I am quite pleased that it is currently raining outside.
