And That’s….the Truth

Well it’s finally happened. I made the decision to start cutting back on some of my blogs. I have been doing extra shifts at my outside job and have discovered lately that I just don’t have the time to keep up with all my blogs. I still want to continue to blog so I’ve decided to discontinue two of my blogs so I can concentrate more on the rest. This will still leave me four blogs but I think I can manage these four a whole lot better without the other two to worry about. And no, don’t worry this is not one of the blogs that I have decided to retire. So now that I’ve made my decision, hopefully you will see me in here posting a whole lot more than I have been during the past few months.

well I had a nice surprise this morning when I came in to do a little blogging. I noticed that I now have page rank on this blog! I haven’t been in here for a while, so I’m not real sure as to when the page ranks changed. I only have a page rank of one right now, but it’s still page rank right? So I guess I’ve been doing something right lately since Google has decided to give me a bit of page rank. So whatever I’ve been doing, I guess I’ll keep doing it and maybe the next time page rank increases come around again, I may see something different.

I am not having a very good day today on my computer. I have been trying for the past couple of hours to post on some of my blogs but for some reason they have decided to seriously act up. Oh, I don’t know maybe I’ll have to invest in some inetsoft performance management software in the very near future. For some reason a couple of my blogs won’t let me copy and paste anything on to them. I have tried refreshing, rebooting and just about anything I can think of. I guess I’ll just go off for a little while and see if my blogs will behave correctly later on in the day.

I’ve got to do something over the next few days that I’ve been putting off for months. I’m going to try to clean up all my blogs and get them to looking the way that I want them too. I’ve been blogging for over five years now and lately have found myself to be kind of slack when doing maintenance on my blogs. I’m going to try to post less about things like diet supplements and post more about my family and friends and our adventures. So if you see some changes around here in the near future you’ll understand completely what’s going on. Hopefully I can make them better.

So I have made some decisions regarding my online life. Currently I spend a lot of time on the computer and I think I’m getting burnt out. So I have made some heavy decisions. When the kids go back to school (in less than two weeks) I’m going to cut back the amount of time I spend on my computer. I’m going to cut back on a few blogs (currently I have seven), slow down a bit on the general transcription and then try to get my crafting business back up and running. If I need some extra cash I can always pick up some extra shifts at work. So these are my plans for now.

Well it really was good to get away from my computer for awhile. I didn’t spend a whole lot of time on the computer this weekend and was able to recharge my batteries. But now it’s once again back to the computer. Over the past few days I have logged on quite a bit of time. And am starting to need a serious break once again. Oh well, I guess if I wasn’t on the computer, I wouldn’t be making any money. So I guess I won’t complain too much.

It has been a crazy week. As you can see I haven’t been blogging that much lately, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been tied to my computer. For the past six days I have been doing typing. I have a general transcription job that needs to be done by Thursday and I am so… not even close yet. So I guess it will be a few more days before I’ll be back in here and posting to tell you all about NC short term health insurance or whatever strikes my fancy. Oh well, sometimes blogging does have to take a back seat to other stuff. And these week seems to be one of those weeks.

I think it’s finally happening. I’m running out of things to blog about. I have been blogging now for well over three years and am now finding that I’m really having a hard time coming up with different and interesting topics to blog about. I do have about six blogs that I try to post on regularly so I guess this is why I’m running out of things to say. So I have a couple of questions for you all. Where do you find your topics to blog about and do you find there comes a time when you run out of things to say? I would love to hear all your thoughts and ideas on this. Maybe with a little help I can make my posts interesting once again.

I’m really starting to think that I’m NEVER going to get back any page rank on any of the blogs I own. A couple of years ago Google took away all my page ranks on all my blogs and to this day they have never given them back. I try to increase my traffic, do regular posts and not do as much paid blogging as I did, but nothing seems to work. I know I shouldn’t really care about Google and their page rank. But I do. Oh well, I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing and hopefully (maybe) some day Google will be nice to me again.

You wouldn’t believe how long it took me to log into this blog this morning. Every time I tried to log in I got a page loading error and was asked to try again. Well after trying again about five times I was finally able to load this up. I’m just keeping my finger’s crossed (while typing) that this post goes through OK. I was supposed to tell you all about what I think are the best weight loss pills but I think at this point I’ll just do this short little post and fly out of here. I just wanted to let you all know that I am still around, but having computer problems. So really…. who knows when you might see me in here again.
