My husband has been home sick with the flue for about a week now. He tried to go into work this morning but was sent home as he was throwing up. Man I wish he’d get over this. I realize he is sick and yes I do feel bad for him. But having him home for an entire week has really screwed up my schedule as well. I really haven’t been able to get a lot of online work done and actually have some articles on bath salt abuse addiction rehab treatment that have to be completed today.
On a side note, he is going to the clinic later today so at least we’ll be able to find out exactly what is wrong with him and get him better. Hopefully after tonight he’ll get some medication, start feeling better, and be able to go back to work. Then… maybe I’ll get some work done around here.

Honestly this man is going to drive me to drink! Last night he came home from work limping. So after finding out what he did (he fell off a machine) I suggested he go to the hospital to get it checked out. But will he, nope. You’d swear to god that I asked him to fill out a lot of Medicare part D plans or something. After I got home from work I noticed that it was swollen in two places and very red. Once again, asked him to go to the hospital and once again told no. Well this morning it was really swollen. Do you know where he is right now?? At the hospital??? No, back at work! This is why he’s driving me crazy.

I’m not really sure what a person acts like when they are going through a mid life crisis, but I think my husband is going through that right now. He’s normally not the easiest person to get along with as he is quite moody, but lately his moods have taken a big turn for the worst. Lately he has been talking about getting some hair loss products, weight loss pills and wrinkle cream. I think he’s trying to stop the hands of time. Growing older has always been a big concern for him but as the years tick by, it’s getting worse and worse. And the bad part, he’s only 44!

Well today is a very special day at our house. Not only is it Valentine’s day, but it is also my husband’s 44th birthday. So I would like to take this opportunity to wish him a very happy Valentine’s day as well as a very happy birthday. We don’t have a whole lot of plans for tonight. Just a special supper and some cake with the kids. He is not a fan of birthdays so we really don’t go nuts on this day. I did dig out a couple of my gold coins and purchased him a present but other than that it’s going to be a quiet celebration.

Well I’m sure everyone is aware that Valentine’s day is right around the corner. But what you all might not be aware of is that this day is also my husband’s birthday. So I have to find just the right present for him. I was thinking of buying him some camacho triple maduro cigars as well as some other smaller presents. He doesn’t smoke all that often, but when he does, he really does enjoy a good cigar. I think this might be something he would really enjoy and I know he certainly won’t be expecting it. But… I have a bit of time before the big day so hopefully I can think of something wonderful for him for both days.

For the past few months my husband has not been feeling the best. Last month I was finally able to talk him into going to the doctor to get a check up and yesterday the doctor gave him back all his test results. Well the test results were not good. But, this can be changed. His doctor has recommended that he find a diet pill that works and lose about 35 pounds. He thinks that if my husband takes this extra weight off, his other results my change and get better. So for his sake I really hope he follows the doctor’s advice. Not only will he feel better, but he’ll live better and longer. It’s a win-win for us all.

I have such a difficult time every year trying to find my father in law the perfect b-day gift. Every year I search for sites which can show me great bday gifts for men and then sit here at my computer struggling with the decision of what to buy him. Well… this year I decided I wasn’t going to do this anymore. I have decided to get him a gift card and let him buy his own gift. This way he can get what he wants and it will be the perfect gift for him.

A couple of months ago my husband searched the Internet for a free weight loss program but was unsuccessful in his efforts to find one that he felt he could stick by. So he had decided to try to lose this weight on his own. He has bought some supplements, started eating better and has been working out in a gym. He tries this about once a year and up until now hasn’t been really successful. But this time I think he might just make it as he has a different attitude about the whole thing. I wish him well and I hope this time he succeeds in losing the weight he wants to.

My father in law is 71 years old and every year it gets harder and harder to buy presents for him. Well this year I think I’ve figured something out. He likes a good cigar now and then so I have decided to purchase him some cohiba cigars. He doesn’t smoke a lot, but every once in a while he will smoke a cigar. So… I think I’ve got his present worked out. Now if I could only figure out what to purchase my husband I would be all set.

Last week my husband had a tiny health scare so he has decided to start living a healthier lifestyle. He has been checking out some natural fat burners and has just joined our local gym. He is a bit overweight and had chest pains last week so thought he could be having a heart attack. He’s only 43 so this really did scare him. Thankfully the pains were really nothing. But this did make him sit up and take notice. For his health’s sake, I really do hope he continues on his healthy journey.
