And That’s….the Truth

Well another Christmas season has come and gone and once again I survived it! I have had the had both kids home for over two weeks now but the end is in sight. Tomorrow morning both children will be back on that school bus and I for one could not be happier. They really haven’t been that bad this past holiday season but are now starting to get bored so they have started doing a little fighting. But if I can make it through today (and I think I can) then I will once again have the day time to myself and a quite house once again as well.

Man I am going to be really happy when this Christmas season if finally behind us. I really hate this interruption to my day to day life. Right now I have two kids home on Christmas vacation and my husband is home on holidays this week as well. So what that means for me is that I’m not getting a whole lot accomplished around this house. This is why I will be glad when this all over. I can once again get my house back in order, catch up on some computer work and start enjoying some quite days to myself once again. Oh well, only a week and a half to go.

Wow I can hardly believe how time flies! There’s only two weeks until Christmas and I’m still not ready! I have been busy these last few weeks trying to get ready for the holiday season but time seems to be slipping away from me. I still need to wrap a few items, find the abrasives my husband has been looking for, take my car in for inspection, get four new tires put on my husband’s vehicle and finish up his Christmas shopping. Oh… I know I still have a couple of weeks to get all this done. But honestly when I look at my list of things to do I really do have to wonder how I’m going to get it all done.

Honestly some days I really do amaze myself. This year I am really getting things done early for Christmas and I am extremely pleased with myself. We have finished most of the shopping. Just need to pick up a few odds and ends. I finished wrapping everything in the house yesterday and today I decorated my house. So… I guess I’m just about ready for the big guy to come on Christmas eve. Now that I have all that done I guess I can once again do the work on my computer that I have been putting off. I have a few articles on pool fence los angeles that are due tomorrow so instead of concentrating on Christmas I guess I’ll have to concentrate on working.

I’ve got to tell you all that as I sit here looking out my kitchen window it’s not a pretty site out there. Right now we are getting hit with our first snowstorm of the season and it’s not a nice sight. Yes, living in Canada we knew it was coming, but I’m not a big fan of the snow. So I guess today is a perfect day to stay inside and get some extra work done. Both of the kids are home from school as they did cancel school first thing this morning. But so far they’ve been pretty good so I’m thinking I’ll be able to get a quite a bit of work done. As long as I don’t have to go out in this type of weather I really don’t mind it. I just hope it stops long enough for my husband to get home and off the roads.

Well we’ve already had one snow storm this year and by the sounds of things we are in for another storm in the near future. So we’ve really got to get ready for this one. It’s not like we have to worry about storm shelters or anything like that, but we’ve got to put the camper away, put the kids bikes away and clean up the driveway so we’ll have a place to put all the snow when it does come. Oh well, we live in Canada so we kind of can expect this kind of weather. It’s just that I hate winter so much and getting ready for it means that it’s coming.

No, it’s not what you think all. This morning on the news I heard that we are getting SNOW on Friday. Well to me, that’s a little to early to start the season. I don’t even have the kid’s breeches, winter coats or boots dug out yet. But whether I like it or not, the snow is coming. Maybe the weather man will be wrong and we won’t get it quite yet. Yeah, I know it’s coming, but please mother nature give me time to prepare.

Over the past couple of months I have become obsessed with the “Extreme Coupon” show. I watch it faithfully every week and try to take some lessons away from each show on how to become an extreme couponer. Well I have started searching the Internet for great coupon sites and am happy to report that I have found a few. A few of my friends have suggested some sights and I have found sites like armani exchange coupons on my own. So I guess I am making some headway in my couponing career. ha,ha. Oh well, whatever can help save my family some money in the long run, I’m going to do it.

I have to tell you all that it’s only 11:00 in the morning here and I’m already fed up with my day. I’m totally exhausted, this kids are acting up and my internet is misbehaving badly as well. So put these all together and I’m one cranky lady. I have been trying to do research on custom rims for the past hour for a job that I have to have completed and I’m having no luck bring things up on my computer. I’m just amazed that my computer is letting me post this post. I’m starting to get a little frustrated so I think when I’m done here I’m going to shut down the computer and go find something less stressful to do. I know all of these things are getting to me a little bit more than usual because I’m so tired. So maybe a nap is in order???
