And That’s….the Truth

The next time I need to purchase a printer and think I want to purchase a wireless one, someone please shoot me! About a month ago my husband purchased a wireless printer and yesterday him and I decided we were going to set it up. Well after an hour of trying to set it up, I gave up and called Kodak support. Well…. after another hour on the phone with them, I was finally able to get this stupid thing set up. Had I known it was going to be such a pain to hook up a wireless printer, I would never have purchased one, and I think I will never purchase one in the future either.

I’m thinking of getting my phone number changed. Lately I have been getting a lot of calls from numbers that I don’t recognize. So I don’t answer the phone and usually let it go to my answering machine. But they never leave a message so I never know who is actually calling. This is really starting to get on my nerves.

But before I get a new phone number (I’ve had this one for 12 years) I have decided to try something different. I have been checking out a site where I can do a reverse phone lookup . This way I can find out who is actually attached to these particular phone numbers. It won’t stop these people from calling me, but at least I’ll know who’s calling and then can decide if I want to answer it.

Yay! The children went back to school this morning. I survived March break! Last week both the kids were home from school and let me tell you all it really wasn’t a fun week. The weather was kind of crappy so the kids were stuck in the house most of the time so that made for a lot of fighting and not a whole lot of work got done. But early this morning they both walked down the road to catch their buses and now I sit here alone in my home in the quiet. I have so much work to get done today like finding auto insurance at cheapestautoinsurance.net but I really don’t mind as I have the time to do this. So… although I have a ton of work to get done today I’m still going to be in a great mood all day and all this extra work really doesn’t bother me.

One sure sign that spring is on it’s way is when the time changes and the clocks spring ahead an hour. Well, that’s what’s going to happen this weekend. Daylight savings time will kick in which will officially mark the end of winter and the start of spring. So… there’s a few things we are going to need to do to get ready for the spring season. One of the things we will need to check into is how much a rv repair is going to cost us. Plus we will need to insure our trailer for the camping season. So with these two things on the agenda it’s a sure sign that spring is finally on it’s way. Thank God!

Right now as I sit here typing this post it is minus 18 degrees outside with a windchill temp of minus 30. That’s cold! It was so cold this morning that I actually had to pull on my boots and drive the kids to the bus stop. Normally they both walk but I couldn’t take the chance of their buses being late and them having to stand out in the bitter cold waiting for the bus. Holy crow, I really hope it warms up soon!

Okay, I am seriously done with winter! I have had it with all the snow, ice and cold. So I have decided to do something about the winter blues that seem to be hanging on forever this year. I am going to start my spring cleaning a little early this year. Over the weekend I purchased some green cleaning supplies and now am so ready to get this house cleaned out for spring. Usually when I start to spring clean I can manage to get my winter blues under control. So I’ve decided to start this cleaning and hopefully soon clean away all signs of winter.

Really all this snow is starting to get on my nerves! We have had a ton of snow this past winter and just when you think mother nature is getting tired of throwing the white stuff at us, here she goes again. Right now the weather reports are telling us that we are getting anywhere from 10 cm to 50 cm. That’s a lot of snow! Hopefully this is the last of it. It’s less than a month until spring so I really think we can be done with the snow now thank you!

Once again I put in a very long week. I had one of the kids home sick all week from school, plus with all his coughing at night, I really didn’t get much sleep. But it’s Friday so relief is in sight. He went back to school this morning and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the school doesn’t call me to come get him. I’m going to do a small amount of blogging today and then I’m going to have a nap! Man, I don’t think I’ve been this tired in a long time. So… have a great day and I’ll talk to you all soon.

So we just finished digging out from a major winter snowstorm and the kids finally got back to school. I thought we’d get a break from it for a little while, but I guess not. Now they are calling for another 20cm of snow over the next few days. So I guess this hammering of snow is not going to end soon. So you can all just about guess what I’m going to be doing over the next few days. That’s right folks! Shoveling. Man I hate winter and can’t wait to see the last of it!
