This weekend my husband and I plan to continue our house hunting. We have set up two appointments to see two different homes. One of the homes is located near my husband’s work so that would be a perfect location for him to travel back and forth to his job. The only drawback with this site is that their are a lot of steel buildings around the house so not much of a view.
The other house is very much in the country which would be a totally awesome place to raise kids. But if we moved into this house, I would have to quit my job. So their are drawbacks and bonuses to each location. I guess we will just have to wait and see which house we like the best.

Well we spent a very exciting Saturday here at our house. We went house hunting. We had an appointment to view one house and were just lucky enough to discover an open house at another house that looked very promising. We have decided to put a bid on one of those houses. But before we do that I want to check out some po finance options. I would love to have all the money squared away before we place any bids. This way we know exactly what we can buy and won’t have any disappointments later on.

After about a month of riding my daughter about her room, today she decided to clean it up without being asked. I think I really need to dig out the camcorder just to show my husband this little miracle that took place while he was at work. He’d never believe me otherwise. My daughter’s room is so much worse than my son’s room. But because she was cleaning her room, he decided he needed to clean his as well. I really don’t know what got into here, but I really hope it lasts.

I have to say that this week has probably been one of the longest weeks of my life!! The two kids were home this week for their March break, and let me tell you all, that fun was NOT had by all. Because the weather was so crappy most of the week, they couldn’t go outside at all. So this meant that they were in the house all week. Well they were bored and decided to fight all week. Seriously, at one point during this week I was awful tempted to check out some Florida Keys vacation rentals and run away from home. But… the good news is, is that this week of *** (you know what I mean) is almost over. Monday morning they will both be on that school bus, and I for one can’t wait!

Well I’m a little anxious these days. A few days ago we were informed that the owners of our trailer park sold the park. So everyone living in here is a little on edge these days. We don’t know if things will stay the same or if the new owners will fly in here with a bunch of new rules and regulations. We have been at our current location for over 10 years now and really hope that there isn’t any (or many) changes that will take place. But only time will tell whether the new owners will be decent or if they will come in and demand that the entire park starts doing things differently.

After living in a mobile home for the past 10 years, I really am starting to wish that I had a manufactured home. I’m not really particular on what kind of home I would like, just a home away from this trailer. I hate living in this park and would love to move away from it. Hopefully I won’t have to wait another 10 years to get the home of my dreams and to get away from this stupid trailer park.

Last night I was looking through one of the catalogues that come to our house. I had originally started looking at different types of office furniture that I may end up buying a little later down the road, but ended up spending quite a bit of time looking at preschool furniture. I never realized that there was so much different types of furniture available on the market this days. Although I’m not in any need for any preschool furniture myself, I know someone who is, so I think I’m going to pass my catalogue on to her. It was fun looking, but I don’t think I’ll end up making any purchases any time soon.

It’s a beautiful spring day out today. The sun is shining and it’s supposed to go to +19 degrees. So this will be a perfect day to get some yard work done. After I’m finished on my computer and have all my housework done, I’m going to go outside and do a little digging in the garden. On nice days like today, I really do hate sitting inside. So I’m going to play a little hooky and see what I can get accomplished outside. Hopefully I’ll get the gardening done, but if not, maybe I’ll play hooky tomorrow too.

Well a while back I started my spring cleaning, but do to some online activities (work) that unexpectedly came my way, I kind of had to put the cleaning on hold. Well my work online is finally completed (for this week) so it’s about time that I get back to it. Today I plan on doing the living room. I can’t do a whole lot in there myself as I really can’t move all the big furniture around to be able to clean around it. But, I’ll get done what I can and then wait until my husband gets home from work to help me finish up. Hopefully, I’ll get most of the work done over the weekend and then I won’t have to worry about spring cleaning again until next year.

Well you sure can tell that the economic times around here are getting pretty bad. There are a lot of houses on the market these days that are going for way below their market value. I honestly think that people are just looking for ways to get from out under a huge mortgage. And by what I have been seeing online, the US isn’t fairing much better. I seen an ad on the Internet last night for different listings in the Wilmington NC real estate area and I have to tell you that I was quite shocked to see how little houses are going for these days. It would be great for people who have a little extra money for investments, but since it’s tight all the way around, I really have to wonder if these houses will sell even at extremely low prices. Hopefully for all of us, the economy will pick up and will pick up soon.
