Well I guess it’s going to be kind of a quiet weekend this weekend. My husband is currently at work and tomorrow I have to go to work. So I guess we won’t be doing too much of anything this weekend. I think we will be stuck inside most of the weekend as it is pretty cold outside today and spending any amount of time outside doesn’t sound like a good thing. Oh well I guess a quiet weekend every now and then can be a good thing.
Well today is the first snow day for the kids this year. Yesterday we ended up getting a pretty big snow storm with tons and tons of snow dumped on us. So both kids are home from school today as the roads around here really weren’t safe enough for them to go to school. So later this afternoon the children and I will be out shoveling. I’ll have to be careful and not hurt myself again like last time or I’ll really have to contact an Offshore Injury company to help me out. So… I guess we’ll be outside for most of the day. If you have nothing to do today, why not join us??
Well I can see that the next few days are going to be busy ones. Not only do I need to finish up all my Christmas stuff, but my day to day life is going to be busy as well. Tonight and Thursday I have to work, tomorrow my son goes skating and I have a bit of work I’m trying to finish up online before the holidays officially begin. As I sit here typing on my computer, I am starting to get a little anxious with everything I need to do today. So instead of doing it, I’m sitting here typing about it. I have a ton of laundry to fold (I hate laundry), dishes to clean up, wrapping of presents and decorating the living room. Honestly I don’t know when I’m going to find the time to get it all done. Oh well, I guess it will get done when it gets done and not one second sooner.
With Christmas so close at hand, I have to come up with a way to earn extra money or to save some money. One way I have decided to do this is to look for cheap auto insurance. Right now I pay a pretty hefty auto insurance bill and if I could find something cheaper I could then afford to buy some extra Christmas presents. If I don’t find cheaper insurance then I’m going to have to find a way to earn a little extra money over the next couple of months. Which ever way I end up going, hopefully we’ll have enough money to make this a very special Christmas for the kids.
I need to find a great way on how to get rid of acne. I’m going on TV. About six months ago our park was bought out about six months ago. Well last week they sent around a six page letter on new rules that they want us to follow. Most of the rules we outrageous and most of us residents refuse to abide from them. Well one of our local news stations has picked up the story and have asked me to speak to them. I have agreed because I don’t agree with these rules. But…. before I do this I want to look my best. After all it’s not every day a person gets to be on TV.
With both kids in school now I am enjoying a lot more “me” time. I have been able to get so much accomplished that it really has amazed me. Matter of fact, earlier today I went to the grocery store and didn’t spend half of what I normally do. It would amaze you on how much money a person can save if they don’t have children with them. So now with school fully in session, I can see that I’m going to be a lot more relaxed and I’m certainly going to enjoy all the “me” time that I can get.
Every time you turn on the radio or the TV lately all you hear about is the crime rate in our area and how fast it’s climbing. It gets a little depressing every once in a while. Well our local government is trying to stem this flow of activity. They have sent up a location where troubled teens and youth can get some help through a non 12 step program. I think this is an excellent idea. It just seems like more and more youth are getting themselves in messes that they can’t seem to get out of. Hopefully this site will help out these teens and make our area just a bit more safer to live in.
Well Friday night my husband picked up his brand new (new to him) Jeep Liberty. I have to tell you all that I am seriously, seriously happy about this. Yes, I know this is “technically” his vehicle, but I hated his car so much that I’m absolutely loving seeing this Jeep in our driveway. Now… all I have to do is call his insurance company and I will be able to drive this vehicle. Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my car but it will be nice to cruise around in this Jeep for awhile. I’m so happy right now!
In the past week we have had ONE cool day. That’s right, just one. And I for one am getting sick and tired of all this hot weather. I don’t feel like doing anything these days. None of my housework has been getting done. Hardly any work on my computer has been getting done and that means work like articles on the best acne treatments isn’t getting done either. I absolutely hate days like we’ve been having and honestly can’t wait to see summer over.
