Back up and running

My blogs were down for three days. I got an e-mail from my hosting company telling me I had some problems with my main site so they de-activated the account. To say I was not impressed is a mild understatement. So because I had no clue as to what they were talking about I sent them a support ticket and informed them I had no idea what they wanted me to do to fix this problem. Well after a couple of days and a lot of e-mails we finally got it all figured out and set back up again. It’s great to be back and hopefully I will never have to go through this ordeal ever again!

Keeping my son motivated

I’m having a real difficult time keeping my youngest son going to school. He is only in grade 6 but says he’s “sick” a lot so he gets to stay home. In the past when he said he was “sick” I still sent him to school knowing he wasn’t but each time he would call home and ask me to come get him. So now when he claims to be “sick” before school I just don’t send him. He has missed quite a bit of time and his marks really are showing it. He does not like school and I don’t know why. But…. I still keep at him. There is only six weeks of school left so he really should go and try to bring up those marks. If I can get him going for the next six weeks it will be a miracle.

Lots to do today

I have a lot of work I need to get done today. Not only do I have some articles on carpet cleaning raleigh nc to write up but I have a ton of housework that I would like to finish as well. Why this rush to get all my work done today you ask?? Well I’ll tell you. Tomorrow is my birthday and I don’t want to have to do anything except take a me day. A few friends and I are going out for dinner tomorrow and then tomorrow night I have no clue what my husband has planned. So I am going to try to get all my work done today so I can just sit back and enjoy my day tomorrow.

Birthday wish list

My birthday is next week and so is mother’s day. Last night my husband asked me what I wanted for these two events. As I really don’t need anything I really had to sit down and think about this. I suggested that he combine the two days together and maybe get me some rustic tables for my home. Since these cost a little more money than he normally would spend on presents I thought combining the two gifts would be a great idea. He said he would think about it and see what he can find. So maybe I just might get this kind of gift that normally I wouldn’t even think to ask for. I’ll let you all know next week how I make out.

Summer is on it’s way

You can sure tell summer is on it’s way. The stores are now stocked with home brewing kits and other different type of drink kits. And… my husband is overjoyed. Yesterday we were in the grocery store and when he seen all these products he spent quite a bit of time studying them. He’s not really a heavy drinker but in the summer he does tend to drink a bit more than the colder months. And when he does drink he likes to try new varieties. I am not a drinker so the changing of the drinking season really doesn’t affect me at all. Oh well, I’m sure I’m going to see some interesting things being made in my kitchen in the very near future. But it’s a sign of summer so I’ll take it.

The kids have only eight weeks of school left this school year. Man… I can’t believe how fast the time has flown. My daughter will be grading from grade 8 and moving on to high school next year and my youngest son will grade (fingers crossed) and move up to grade 7. My daughter had a really awesome year again this year but is really looking forward to going to high school next year. My son’s year wasn’t that great but I think he will grade and at this point that is all I can hope for. Although they still have eight weeks to go I can see the time is going to fly so I guess I’m going to have to set myself up to the fact that these children will soon be home and in my way for a couple of months.

Making jewelry again

Last week I purchased some Chrysoprase Beads to start my creations once again. I’ve been working on a quilt over the past couple of months but have got quite bored with the quilt. So I decided I wanted to start a different project. Well I found some beads online on sale and since I haven’t made any jewelry in quite a while decided to purchase these beads and start making jewelry sets once again. So now I have to wait for the mail and when my beads arrive I will start making jewelry and put the quilt aside for a little while. I can’t wait!

Serious back troubles

Well here we go again. My doctor warned me that my back problems from last summer could come back to haunt me and man…. they sure did. For the past couple of days I have been lying flat on my back and haven’t even been able to go to work. Forget about sitting on the computer and looking up the information on TC Helicon products that my son has been asking about. Sitting on the computer for any length of time just wasn’t happening. But today I do feel a bit better and if I don’t overdue it I might be able to get a small amount of work done. I’ll try to take it easy today as I really do need to get back to work tomorrow. But I will check out the TC Helicon products to see if there something that’s quite reasonable that I will be able to purchase my son for grading this year.

On a deadline

I really don’t know why I do this to myself. Last week I was given a writing assignment from a company to do some comparisons between wedding photography raleigh nc and other wedding photography sites. Well I put it off and now is the day that this piece of work is actually due. The weather here has been so wonderful that I have had a seriously hard job of staying in and staying on my computer. But with my deadline looming in front of me I guess that even though once again it’s a beautiful day, I’ll really have to stay seated at this computer. Oh well, things like that do happen every once in a while. I guess I’ll just have to roll with it.

I think I can finally say that spring has sprung! Over the past couple of days the weather has been beautiful and today is no exception. It’s so nice outside right now that I don’t even want to write up the articles on side effects of fenphedrine that I have promised to a company. But… I guess if I want to make some money I’m just going to have to stop looking out my window. Who knows, maybe in a couple of hours I’ll have all my work done and can go out and play for a little while. It’s just so nice out, that I don’t want to stay in and type.
