And That’s….the Truth

Nine years ago today my husband and I said “I do”. Where does the time go? First things first, I’d like to wish my husband a very happy wedding anniversary!

Later tonight the kids and him and I (no sitter) will be headed out for a small dinner celebration. I did do a little green shopping and bought him something pretty cool so I will present that to him tonight at our supper. Then after the kids go to bed I guess we will toast our happy day with a bit of wine.

So it’s going to be a great day and lots of fun. Happy anniversary to us!

Although I have my license and have had for six years now, I do not drive in town. I’m not comfortable driving in that area so I normally lose out on a lot of good buys. A friend of mine went shopping at a local thrift store. She was amazed at the name brand of baby clothes and kid’s clothes that she seen in the store and really couldn’t believe the prices. But since I don’t drive in town, I can’t get to that store. I think one of these days I will find someone to take me into this store and maybe I’ll be able to take advantage of all the deals they have as well.

Well Friday night my husband picked up his brand new (new to him) Jeep Liberty. I have to tell you all that I am seriously, seriously happy about this. Yes, I know this is “technically” his vehicle, but I hated his car so much that I’m absolutely loving seeing this Jeep in our driveway. Now… all I have to do is call his insurance company and I will be able to drive this vehicle. Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my car but it will be nice to cruise around in this Jeep for awhile. I’m so happy right now!

Why does purchasing a vehicle have to be such a hassle? My husband is in the middle of buying one as you have already read, but the crap that he has to go through is unreal. It’s almost as painful as searching for a quick weight loss program. He finally has got all the paperwork together and has handed it all over to the dealership. So… now we have to wait. I honestly thought we would have it by today so I could take it to work tonight, but nope that isn’t going to happen. Keep your fingers crossed for me that we get it tomorrow. At least then we’ll have it for the weekend.

I am so excited! Last night my husband traded in his car for a new SUV. Even though it’s technically his vehicle and not mine, I’m still pretty excited. I can’t wait to drive it. For the past six years he has owned the same car and because of it’s size, I wasn’t able to drive it. But this little SUV is right up my alley. I’m hoping he brings it home tonight so I can take it to work tomorrow night. Can you tell that I’m excited???

In the past week we have had ONE cool day. That’s right, just one. And I for one am getting sick and tired of all this hot weather. I don’t feel like doing anything these days. None of my housework has been getting done. Hardly any work on my computer has been getting done and that means work like articles on the best acne treatments isn’t getting done either. I absolutely hate days like we’ve been having and honestly can’t wait to see summer over.

Thank heavens today is a lot cooler. Right now it’s cloudy outside and the temperature is only about 16. This type of weather I can handle. For the past few days it has been unbearably hot and I haven’t been able to get a whole lot of work done. But I think I’ll be able to get quite a bit done today. I’ll be able to get my articles on prevera finished and be able to catch up on all my blogging as well. Hopefully this cooler weather holds out for a couple of days.

My husband has not managed to get a weekend off yet this summer. And… he was just informed by his boss that it doesn’t look good for his next two weeks of vacation either. This has me seriously upset. If he can’t get any time off, then we can’t go camping and this does not impress me one little bit! I guess the only good thing about this is I’ve been able to pump out quite a few articles on diet pills that actually work so I am making a little extra cash. But honestly folks if I had my choice between working on my computer and camping, the camping would win each and every time.

I know you would think that I wouldn’t want the rain and would rather enjoy all this sunshine wouldn’t you?? Well no, I would welcome the rain right about now. It’s been brutally hot here and today is no exception. Right now they are calling for temperatures to reach as high as 28 degrees, but where I live, this will go much higher. So this is why I would welcome the rain. At least it would cool down some.

At 8:00 this morning the temperature outside was plus 16 and it has been steadily rising. This is why it’s going to be a warm one. I live in a mobile home so it’s even hotter here inside. So… I’m not going to be spending a lot of time on the computer today. It’s just to darn hot. I have a couple of articles to write about adipex p and then I think I’m going to shut my computer down for the day. I may go back online after supper when it cools down.
